In June 2010 we spent two weeks holiday on the island of Corsica.
We drove down to Toulon FRANCE, and took the night ferry across.
After visiting the town of Bastia we headed up over the mountains to
Porto on the west coast. On the way we saw many wild pigs and goats. |
After a short week we continued around the coast and
stayed one night at Propriano.
The next morning we visited the old town of Bonifacio on the top
of the cliff. We then found our appartment and finished the day
in the town of Pinarello. |

On the east side of the island we all liked the nice
warm weather and sandy beaches.
One day we got up very early to see the sun rise. We then visited
Bonifacio again from a litle boat and had many beautifull views
from the sea side.
We can really recommend visiting the island with its spectacular scenery and food; especially in May or June, just before the holiday season begins. |
